Explanation of auction terms and definitions

Vehicle damage

AO – ALL OVER – a vehicle is damaged in many places (in more than 2 places);
BC – BIOHAZARDOUS / CHEMICAL – soiled with blood / chemicals;
BE – BURN ENGINE – engine department damaged by fire;
BI – BURN INTERIOR – the interior of the vehicle is damaged by fire;
BN – BURN – vehicle totally damaged by fire;
FR – FRONT END – front damage / front-impact;
HL – HAIL – damaged by hail;
MC – MECHANICAL – engine, electrical installations, gearbox, driving axis defects;
NO – NO VISIBLE DAMAGE – no visible damage, can be totally intact or totally broken vehicle;
RJ – REJECT REPAIR – no visible damage, can be totally intact or totally broken vehicle;
RO – ROLLOVER – a vehicle rolled over in the accident;
RR – REAR END – rear damage / rear-impact;
SD – SIDE – side-impact;
ST – STRIPPED – stripped car, some parts have been removed, chemical spill;
TP – TOP / ROOF – roof deformation / damage;
UK – UNKNOWN – unknown damage, can be intact vehicle;
UN – UNDERCARRIAGE – undercarriage damage, possible chassis damage;
VN – VANDALISM – a vehicle damaged by acts of vandalism;
WA – WATER / FLOOD – water / flood damage.

Vehicle mileage

A – ACTUAL – actual mileage;
N – NOT ACTUAL – damaged speedometer and unknown mileage;
X – EXCEEDS MECHANICAL LIMITS – the mileage of the older vehicles is not important and is not specified;
E – EXEMPT – old vehicles are exempt from specifying the mileage;

Vehicle documentation

CL – CLEAR / CLEAN TITLE – all title documents are available / can be repaired and registered;
SALVAGE TITLE – title documents of salvage vehicle / can be repaired and registered;
JUNK TITLE – vehicle cannot be repaired and registered;
NO TITLE / PARTS ONLY – there are no title documents or the vehicle can only be used for parts / vehicle cannot be repaired and registered;
NOT REPAIRABLE – vehicle cannot be repaired and registered;
SCRAP CERTIFICATE OF TITLE – vehicle cannot be repaired and registered;
BILL OF SALE – vehicle cannot be repaired and registered;
CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION – vehicle cannot be repaired and registered;
WAIT CERTIFICATE – waiting for the issue of a required document;

Other definitions

ACV – market price of an intact vehicle;
Color – the color of the vehicle body;
Damage Type – type of damage;
Description – description with specification of the year of manufacture;
Expected Sale Date – the expected date of sale;
Facility – site, where the vehicle is stored for sale;
Loss Type – the type of loss/damage;
Mileage – mileage in miles;
Repair Cost – the cost of repairs (in USA / Canada);
TBD – the date will be determined and published;
Theft – the vehicle is stripped, stolen.
Title State – state, where vehicle is registered;
Title Type – the type of a MOT certificate of a vehicle;
VIN – vehicle identification number, vehicle body number.
